This may be of interest to some .. Auckland Museum are running a competition for students to create a short 3 minute movie and it is linked to the new Digital Technology Curriculum. Their website has tips on software useage, they are offering seminars for students to attend and gives details of entry forms etc.

This could be a way to extend some of the more able students or just encourage those with a talent and imagination and need a challenge.
