Feedback on the revision of the National Certificates in Computing Level 2 and 3
National Qualification Services (NQS) is seeking feedback on the revision of the National Certificates in Computing Level 2 and 3.
This revision has occurred to reflect changes made during the review of level 1-3 Computing unit standards.
NQS is seeking specific comment on the following changes:
● the addition of unit standard 2783 in the compulsory section of both qualifications
● the change to credit value requirements for elective A
● the replacement of compulsory business information management standards by a maximum credit value from domains text information management, or, business information processing in elective B
● the change in credit value for the balance of credits in elective C.

Please note that these drafts are for comment only and should not be used to make changes to programmes or planning decisions as they may change during the quality assurance process. NQS hopes to have final versions available to the sector later this year.
